Pro Prints vs consumer labs – Does it really matter?

It used to be that professional photographers did not provide their clients with their original digital files. If you had professional photos taken then you would order your prints through your professional photographer.
There was a reason for that… you undoubtedly will get the best quality for your images if you order them directly from the professional photographer that took them.

If you are going to invest in a photographer to take your photos, doesn’t it make sense to use that same professional to make the prints to ensure the best quality of your images? Not only is it better for you but, also better for your photographers reputation.

I spend hours and hours perfecting my clients images. I want their images to be absolutely perfect. Then, I see my images on display by my client in their office and I literally cringe! They have taken my hard worked on images, and had them printed at a near by 1-hour photo lab.  All my hard work has gone to waste and all I see now is this unflattering imitation of my hard work.

The quality of your images reflects directly upon the quality of your photographers work. Respect the expertise and high quality of your professional photographer by using a professional photo lab provided by your photographer to make your prints.
